I hear that’s the hottest spot north of Havana.

The New York Public Library has tons of things you can check out! As they say...
3 hours around Times Square, idk, maybe CCC? I’m not sure if any Oppos work there now though.

On a serious note I would go to the intrepid air and space museum. Its pricey but you can see aircraft and go inside the Concorde. If you do go to it, let me know how bad G-BOAD is corroding instead being flown. The met is good too. Just say you’re a student.

If you’re downtown check out the Oculus/transit hub at World Trade. It’s pretty cool. And huge.

I like to recommend Modern Pinball to people, it’s an all pinball arcade (machines spanning from 1960s to today) where you pay by the hour for unlimited plays. It’s a 10-15 min cab ride from Times Square depending on the traffic. If you go during the day it should be mostly empty, although it is school vacation now so idk.
